Being a male, I would like some leather wallets for men. I feel that the older I get, the more I feel like I need a wallet. It is great to see how well worked on some wallets are. Companies definitely try to make a wallet that appeals to any kind of individual. Specifically, I am a big fan of the leather wallets with say a band logo on it, or the symbol for a video game. Add the ones that come with chains attached, it makes access to the rarely used back pockets, better. Still though, I could have wallets in my front pockets. The chains look nice, but not really necessary. I think stores like Hot Topic offer the best leather wallets. Just by band logos and video game symbols. I am sure they can be sold in the internet, which are just as fine. I am not a big Hot Topic fan, but they sell great wallets. Leather wallets also feel nice in texture. Return of the Crimson Guard (RotCG) is the latest fantasy novel in the Malazan Empire series. Written by Canadian writer Ian Cameron Esslemont (often called “ICE” by fans), RotCG is the sequel to the first book, Night of Knives.

Firstly, it’s important to note that Return of the Crimson Guard is but one of a series of 22 Malazan books. While it can be read on its own, most readers will not get a true sense of the meaning behind the actions and motivations of the characters if they have not read the other Malazan novels.

Read as part of the Malazan epic fantasy series, RotCG is an exciting, non-stop adventure that focuses closely on the titular mercenary company the Crimson Guard. The main character Kyle, is a hapless youth who is thrust into the heat of battle and survives only because of luck. During the course of his journey across the continent of Genabackis Kyle meets up with various powerful mages and legendary heroes who either aid or disrupt the Crimson Guard’s goal of bringing down the Malazan Empire.

Kyle himself is not really too interesting. He is just an average guy who is trying to make his mark on the world.

It’s a great book but people who are not familiar with the Malazan series should start with Night of Knives.

How good is the Malazan series as a whole? Is it worth reading?

It’s a very good fantasy series that is worth your time if you like epic fantasy. For more casual readers, Malazan will be too long and hard to read. Don’t underestimate the appeal of this work. It has become so popular that there are rumors of a movie in the works and also an MMORPG but this has not been confirmed by any website so far.

My grandson will be leaving for college soon. He will be the first on our side of the family to attend college and he promised me he will graduate. He will be a freshman at Arizona State University.
