My search for what works best for me continues. I still have to find the best hair removal products, the best mouth wash solutions, the best make up line. The best doesn’t necessarily mean the most expensive. All it entails is a meticulous mind for good detective work and, uh, a not-so-meticulous sensibility for sniffing, tasting and probing at hundreds of testers in the supermarkets. I tell you it really works.
Take my quest for the best toothpaste for instance. I only had to go through some 10 products before I hit on the perfect one for me. And this was all done in a matter of two months only. Not bad, right? Considering you’ll be using this product for life. But this search for the best hair removal product has taken me some time, however. And my legs, chin and armpits testify to the various tortures I have endured.
What does your regular supermarket shelf contain? Let’s check out the Hair Care section. Let’s see if they have hair removal products, hair growth serums and gels, shampoos, conditioners, hair colors, highlighters, hair wax, hair gel, styling potions, and bottle after bottle of hair vitamins whatever that means. This is just one shelf in one section, mind you. We haven’t even ventured yet to the exciting Skin and Body Section and the much talked-about Face Care.
Only one product qualifies for all three sections at once. It shouldn’t actually be in the hair care section in the first place. What person in his right mind would want to remove even a few strands of hair from his head? But this supermarket apparently caters to all types of fetishes and neurosis–thus the hair removal products in the Hair Care Section. Let me just laugh out loud!
